Father John Misty

A serious record shop should occasionally make room for artists who do not treat the audience like children in need of encouragement.

Niamh and I do not agree on many things.

This is perfectly healthy. People who agree on everything are either lying, recently engaged, or runners.

But we both think Father John Misty is amazing.

That is not a casual opinion. It is a rare point of agreement reached in a world now largely organised around bad taste, public oversharing, and the steady appreciation of the mediocre.
