AC/DC's 1988 LP Blow Up Your Video keeps the machinery simple: riffs, choruses, swing and a band staying very much in character.

There are AC/DC records that arrive carrying the full thundercloud of myth, and then there are the ones that simply put the kettle on, plug in the amp and get back to work. Blow Up Your Video belongs to the second camp, which is no insult. A band this direct can make work sound like a virtue.
