Some records arrive looking ready to kick the door open.
Futique arrives in a cream sleeve with red lettering so elegant it looks as if it has booked the good table and already knows the wine list.
Biffy Clyro are on the shelf today, and the cover is doing a funny bit of emotional misdirection. The word Futique sits large and red at the top, then turns itself upside down at the bottom, as if the sleeve has decided that time is best understood by standing on its head for a minute. In the middle, a small black and white photograph keeps the human part quietly in view.
Good. Big rock records still need a human part.
