Emotional Eternal is Melody's Echo Chamber in a softer and more breathable register. Released in 2022, the album follows the dense, disorienting Bon Voyage with music that feels less like a maze and more like light passing through leaves. Melody Prochet had already built a world around dream-pop, psych texture and French-English drift, but here the movement is calmer, more pastoral and more openly shaped by renewal. The title track sets the tone with a floating sense of arrival, while Looking Backward turns memory into motion rather than regret. Pyramids in the Clouds brings a bright psych-folk curl, The Hypnotist leans into spellbound repetition, and Personal Message makes the record's emotional center feel intimate without collapsing into diary writing. The closing stretch, especially Alma_The Voyage, gives the album a familial and almost lullaby-like gravity, as if the psychedelic language of earlier records has been redirected toward protection and peace. What makes Emotional Eternal valuable is not that it abandons Prochet's strangeness. The songs still slip between languages, textures and eras; basslines wander, guitars shimmer, horns and strings appear like passing weather. The difference is that the record lets air into the arrangement. Instead of chasing overload, it trusts grace, balance and small melodic turns. It is a psych-pop album about recovery and perspective, but it never lectures the listener on either. It simply sounds like someone finding a livable form of wonder.

Emotional Eternal matters because it reframes Melody's Echo Chamber after a decade of cult devotion and difficult interruptions. It proves that Prochet's project could evolve beyond the celebrated debut and the restless sprawl of Bon Voyage into something lighter, clearer and still unmistakably hers. For a modern psych-pop collection, it is the record where haze becomes pastoral, and where experimental texture is used in service of calm rather than disorientation.

This belongs in a collection that values psych-pop as atmosphere, songwriting and emotional architecture all at once. It is less explosive than the debut and less chaotic than Bon Voyage, which makes it especially rewarding for full-side listening. Put it beside Broadcast, Stereolab's gentler corners, Beach House, Air and Dungen-related projects: it shares their taste for suspended color, but it has Prochet's own private weather.

Pastoral psych-pop with airy vocals, French-English phrasing, wandering bass, soft-focus guitars, light orchestral touches and a warm, restorative glow.

Recommended for: Dream-pop and psych-pop listeners who prefer atmosphere with melody; Melody's Echo Chamber fans drawn to the gentler post-Bon Voyage chapter; Collectors building a modern French psych and indie-pop shelf.
