4-Track Demos is PJ Harvey's 1993 document of Rid Of Me before it became a famous Albini-recorded confrontation. Released the same year as the studio album, it presents home-recorded versions and related songs with the protective skin removed: guitar, voice, distortion, room noise and the unnerving feeling that the songs are being written and exorcised at once.
